Vehicle recovery / Glasgow

From 1-2 leads a week to 20+.

How a connected website, Google Ads, local SEO and measurement strategy helped SP Rapid Recovery build a stronger and more consistent flow of recovery enquiries.

20+leads per week through paid and organic search

The result came from improving the full route from search to enquiry, not from treating the website, adverts and Google presence as separate projects.

The starting point

Good service, inconsistent acquisition.

SP Rapid Recovery provides emergency breakdown, accident and vehicle recovery across Glasgow and Central Scotland. Before the work, the business relied on a less developed online presence and generated roughly one to two leads in a typical week.

Recovery is a demanding acquisition market. Customers search with immediate intent, nearly all paid volume arrives on mobile and irrelevant clicks can quickly consume budget. The website also needs to establish location, availability and trust within seconds.

The work

Connect search intent to the right customer journey.

01

Website and service structure

Built a mobile-first recovery website with direct call actions, genuine imagery, service-specific information and dedicated commercial pages for recovery searches.

02

Google Ads control

Restructured search intent, separated breakdown demand, tightened keywords and negatives, improved advert relevance and matched traffic to the appropriate page.

03

Organic and local growth

Expanded useful service and location coverage, strengthened internal linking and supported the Google Business Profile and review process.

04

Measurement

Tracked calls and quote requests, then added a lead and revenue process to distinguish platform activity from genuine jobs and commercial value.

Measured evidence

More volume, stronger visibility and clearer decisions.

Lead volume reflects the later operating result supplied by the business. Rating and review figures are point-in-time audit figures and may have increased since.

What mattered

The campaign became more useful as the data became more commercial.

An August 2026 audit found meaningful paid demand and rapidly improving efficiency, but also showed why platform conversion totals need context. Website call-button clicks were not the same as connected calls or won recovery jobs.

The lead tracker created a better baseline: 29 logged leads, 18 recorded wins and £2,868 of recorded won revenue across the audited period. Those figures were not attributed entirely to Google Ads because source data was incomplete. That distinction matters. Honest measurement creates better decisions than claiming every result visible in an advertising account.

The next stage was therefore not simply more traffic. It was stronger service-level landing pages, better search-term control and a clearer feedback loop between enquiry source, job outcome and value.
