Who is responsible for your information
Mac Digital Studio is responsible for the personal information collected through this website. For privacy questions or requests, email mac@macdigitalstudio.co.uk.
Information we collect
When you request a website preview, we collect your name, business name, phone number, email address, location, services and any optional website, social page or business information you provide. We may also receive basic campaign attribution, such as the advert or link that brought you to the website, and limited technical information used to protect the form from spam.
How we use it
We use this information to review your business, respond to your request, prepare an initial website direction, contact you about the service and keep a record of our conversations. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract and our legitimate interest in responding to genuine business enquiries and protecting the website from misuse.
Services that process information
We use Supabase to securely store enquiries and CRM activity, Resend to send email confirmations and internal alerts, TextMagic to send Mac an internal SMS alert, Vercel to host the website and process form requests, Meta to measure visits and enquiries from our advertising, and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use public pages through interaction data, heatmaps and session recordings. Form contents are masked from Clarity. These providers process information on our behalf under their own security and data protection commitments. Information may be processed outside the UK using appropriate legal safeguards.
Advertising cookies and Meta
The Meta Pixel records visits to public pages and helps us understand whether an advert led to an enquiry. When an enquiry is successfully saved, we may also send Meta a matching conversion event from our server. Email addresses and phone numbers sent for matching are normalised and securely hashed before they leave our server. You can restrict cookies and tracking technologies through your browser settings.
How long we keep it
Enquiry information is normally kept for up to 24 months after our last meaningful contact. Information connected to an active client relationship may be retained for longer where required for contracts, accounting, legal obligations or resolving disputes. We may delete information sooner when it is no longer needed.
Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We only share it with the service providers needed to operate this website and respond to your request, or where disclosure is required by law.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for a copy of your information, correction, deletion, restriction or objection to how it is used. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office. Contact us first at mac@macdigitalstudio.co.uk and we will help.
Security and updates
We use access controls, encrypted connections and restricted server-side credentials to protect enquiry information. We may update this notice when the website or the services we use change.
